Spiced Celeriac Soup

  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped garlic clove
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin and coriander
  • 1 pinch chilli flakes
  • 1 peeled and diced celeriac
  • 1 potato, diced
  • hot stock
  • splash of double cream


  • In a pan soften 1 onion in olive oil. Add garlic, cumin, coriander and chilli flakes. Fry for 1 minute.
  • Add celeriac and potato. Cover with stock and simmer until all the vegetables are tender. Add cream and blend until smooth. Serve with crusty bread.
