Leek and Ham/Turkey Stroganoff with Rice
Uses the left over Turkey or Gammon from Christmas.
- 1 Onion
- 2 cloves of Garlic
- 1 Leek
- 500 g Turkey/Gammon
- 200 ml Cream
- 200 ml Milk
- 1 tbsp Plain Flour
Gently fry a chopped onion in a large frying pan, add 2 cloves of garlic chopped and finally washed and sliced leek.
Sauté gently. Add the chopped turkey or gammon and heat through.
When the onions and leeks are translucent add plain flour and mix so all the ingredients are evenly coated.
Pour over the cream and milk and stir gently. It will thicken.
Season with salt and pepper and any chopped parsley. Serve with cooked basmati rice.
