Cauliflower Cheese

You can swap out cauliflower for broccoli or do half broccoli (259g) and half cauliflower (250g).

  • 1 Cauliflower
  • 100 g Cheese
  • 4 tbsp Flour
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 50 g Butter


  • Break the cauliflower into pieces and steam or boil. Once nearly cooked drain. Preheat oven to 220C/200C Fan/Gass 7.
  • Melt butter in pan and add flour stirring making sure the the flour doesn't burn.
  • Gradually add the milk to flour and butter mixture. Once all the milk is in add the grated cheese. Saving some cheese for the top.
  • Add the sauce to the cauliflower making sure to evenly cover the cauliflower. Place in an oven proof dish and sprinkle remaining cheese on the top. Put in the oven and cook for 20 minutes or until it is bubbling
