Apple and pork burger

  • 350 g pork sausage meat
  • 1 onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 grated apple
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp herbs- mixed herbs/sage


  • Finely chop the onion and lightly fry off the onion in the oil.
  • Mix together all the other ingredients including the onion. If it is not pulling together add some breadcrumbs to help bind it.
  • Shape into small patties and place on a baking tray. Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes until all the pink juice no longer comes out when lightly pressed.
