Our first Annual Report is published today! It has been an incredible, unchartered year, and we are so gratefully for the generous support from so many people that has enabled Catch 77 to make a difference over the past 12 months.
Welcome to our first Annual Report. The past 12 months have been astonishing in so many ways. When Jools and I started Catch 77 at the beginning of the first lock down it was in response to the impact of school closures on families relying on free school meals. Since then we have learnt so much, and with the help of our team, volunteers, partners and funders Catch 77 has developed beyond a crisis response initiative, into a substantial community enterprise.
We believe everyone has the right to eat well, and that doing so increases our resilience to challenges and improves our wellbeing. By helping people source and prepare varied, tasty and health family meals, we aim to help people cope better with financial and social difficulties. By providing varied weekly meal plans, recipes and videos we aim to give people new ideas and improve their confidence in providing good food for their families.
Thank you for taking time to read this report. I hope what you’ll find inside will be of interest, give you a good sense of what we’ve been doing, and of the impact we’ve had. It has been really humbling and a lot of fun setting up Catch 77, and Jools and I are really grateful for the generosity of so many people who have helped us make a difference over the past year.
